I have been having to pick up a bunch of these when going over the border- I am not kidding the ONLY way i will ever sanitize my hot tub with,. You really do just pop it into “hole” in center of your filter cartridge,,, and that;t it. Add a tiny but of chlorine- I do mean tiny. Shock as you normally would. I am not KIDDING! I was so thrilled to find this product after years of breaking out in rash from chlorine and bromine.
I know this company sells them- let me know of others.

Not posting with info- I want to know! I ran out out of Alka up for our hot tub and can’t find it in our small town so I have to mail ordere. I do have some for our pool- could I just use that?
I am also tempted just to use baking soda- am I nuts? I need something to increase alkalinity and don;t see whay this wouldnt work or how ti could be harmful Stop me before I do any damage!

I started using this about a month ago. I am SHOCKED at how well it works. Water is crystal clear. I am using next to no chemicals. My skin is not dry, cracked or bleeding. I am am really impressed. I have no affiliation with the company- this is just such a God send for me. I was miserable sing bromine and chlorine.. and stopped going in hot tub for a while.
I HIGHLY recommend! They don;t sell in canada but I am sure you can buy online.

Spa Recipe: Ingredients
-
Nature2 Purifier
-
Non-chlorine oxidizer (potassium peroxymonosulfate)
-
Nature2 Spa Test Strips* or Test kits (pH, total
alkalinity)
-
pH and total alkalinity adjusting chemicals
-
Dichlor
-Purifier Start Up: Drain and refill your spa. Balance water per dealer guidelines. Add 1 teaspoon of dichlor to spa per 250 gallons (approx. 1000 litres). (Note: 1 teaspoon = 1/4 ounce = 7 grams.)
-Every Day Run spa according to recommendation supplied to you by the manufacturer of your spa
Before Each Use Add 1 tablespoon of potassium peroxymonosulfate (MPS) to spa per 250 gallons (approx. 1000 litres)
(Note: 1 tablespoon = 1 tablet = 3/4 ounce = 21 grams.)
Once A Week Add 3 tablespoons of potassium peroxymonosulfate to spa per 250 gallons (approx. 1000 litres). Check and adjust pH and total alkalinity. Every 4 Months Drain and refill your spa.
Replace Nature2 purifier, repeat purifier start-up.
As Needed If water looks hazy, shock treat with 1 teaspoon of dichlor per 250 gallons (approx. 1000 litres)
The Nature2 Spa Purifier is not to be used with products containing bromine, sodium bromide or biguanides. If these products are being used, be sure to drain
and refill spa with fresh water.
As an alternative to potassium monopersulfate, dichlor may be substituted: 1 teaspoon dichlor = 3 tablespoons potassium peroxymonosulfate
